Now for the fun part: the actual spells!
Spell #1: The Honey Jar Spell
Materials needed:
- A small glass jar with a lid
- A piece of paper and pen
- Honey
Instructions
- On a piece of paper, write down the name of the person you’d like to think sweet thoughts of you.
- Place the paper in the jar and pour enough honey that it covers the entire paper
- Meditate on what your love wish is and how you’d like the relationship between you and this person to be.
- Say the following out loud: “Just like honey is sweet, that’s how [Person’s Name] will be when they think of me. So mote it be.”
- Screw the lid on and place it in a safe, secure, and secret spot where it will not be disturbed. Then let the Universe work its will.
Spell #2: The Picture Love Spell
Materials needed:
- A photo of your belovedA
- A photo of you
- A piece of red thread or yarn
- A pen
- Take the photo of your beloved and yours and place them face-to-face.
- Bind the photos together using the red thread or yarn, wrapping it around to secure them.
- On the back of both sides, write “When [Person’s Name] thinks of me, [he/she/they] likes what they see. They can’t stop thinking of me. So mote it be.”
- Place the bound photo in a safe spot, like in a romance novel, your journal, a private drawer, or underneath your pillow.
Spell #3: Candle Magic Love Spell
Materials needed:
- 1 pink candle
- 1 white candle (even birthday candles will do)
- A plate or candle burners
- A pin, knife, or athame
- A match or lighter
- Optional: rose oil
- If you are using rose oil, anoint your pink candle with the oil. Then, using your sharp object (like a pin or knife), carve the name of your intended on one side of the candle.
- Repeat Step 1 with the white candle, except this time, carve your own name into the white candle.
- State your love intention, openly and honestly, of what you’d like to happen with this person. “Bring me the love of [Person’s Name] according to the will of the Universe and their freewill. May their love and feelings for me be expressed openly and easily. So mote it be.”
- Place the candles in candle burners or on a plate next to each other and light them, keeping them lit until the fire goes out.
- Practice safety and do not let your candles burn unattended. If you must put out the candles before they burn through, snuff them out.
- Extra credit: Light this candle on a Friday, the day of Venus, for an added boost.
Spell #4: Self Love Mirror Spell
Materials needed:
- A handheld mirror
- Lipstick
- Buy a special handheld mirror that you will only use for this purpose
- Apply your favorite shade of lipstick while looking into the mirror
- Say a positive, self-affirming, self-love statement. You can use any words you wish, but if you need a prompt try this: “I am beautiful. I am loveable. I am desirable. I am attractive. I am worthy of the love I seek. The love I seek comes easily to me. So mote it be.”
- Kiss the mirror and repeat any time you need to remind yourself of your value.
Remember to be open to love in all its forms as it is the most basic human need and emotion.
