Stage 4: Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius, December 18 – 30
Mercury’s big swing backwards sends it from the early stages of Capricorn back into Sagittarius. Mercury backs up into Sagittarius from December 18 until just before New Year’s Eve. -
Stage 5: Mercury Direct again in Sagittarius, December 30 – January 13
On December 30, Mercury pushes forward through Sagittarius. Unlike its recent November visit, this stay lasts just over two weeks. It reaches Capricorn for good on January 13.
