While winter traditionally begins at the solstice around December 21 and lasts until the spring equinox of March 21, the cooling down and shortening of the days makes anything after Thanksgiving winter-like for all of us in the Northern Hemisphere. So for the purposes of this winter love forecast, the planetary movement of Venus that occurs December 1 thru mid-March will be examined in the hopes of uniting you with your soulmate, all based on your zodiac sign.
When planets move through the zodiac, they spend time in each sign. Over the course of a few months, a few of these shifts will affect each of us in different ways. Something as emotional and free of logic as love can be more dependent on the influence of the planets than you might initially realize. Venus in Scorpio and the Water Signs
When Venus is in Scorpio, the three water signs of the zodiac benefit the most.
Cancer June 22 – July 22
Cancer is the first water sign. If you were born under the sign of the crab, expect the chaotic holiday celebrations to bring music and romance into your life. If he seals it with a New Year's kiss, you may have found a soulmate.
Scorpio October 23 – November 21
Scorpio is the second water sign and benefits greatly from the Venus visit, as you will have many flirtatious friends to choose from. Wait until January, when the planet of love visits Sagittarius and see which of your possible partners is more in synch with how you view the world. This is the man to choose.
Pisces February 19 – March 20
The third water sign of the zodiac is Pisces. The sign of the fish will benefit from the Venus visit to Scorpio to find someone with whom a deep relationship becomes possible. The sign of the Lion, Leo, is the second fire sign of the zodiac. Venus in Capricorn and the Earth Signs
Earth signs have to hold off on falling in love over the hectic holidays. These three zodiac signs might find an impractical situation arise in January that forces romantic pursuits aside in favor of organizational matters. Taurus April 20 – May 20

In will be a long cold and lonely winter on the love front for the air signs of the zodiac. Gemini May 21 – June 21
